Diocesan Bishop Dr. Anthony Farrington, a distinguished individual hailing from
the serene Cargill Creek Andros, Bahamas, emerges as a beacon of accomplishment and purpose in both spiritual and professional realms.
His educational journey has led him to accomplish an Associates, Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate Degrees. Additionally, he holds the distinction of being a Registered Professional Civil and Structural Engineer in both the United States
and The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.


Dr. Farrington’s entrepreneurial spirit manifested in the establishment of two
renowned Engineering and Construction Companies. As the Principal and CEO of
both entities, his leadership has garnered global recognition, with services highly
sought after locally and internationally. He also serves as a Director on numerous
Corporate Boards.


Passionate about philanthropy, Dr. Farrington, alongside his wife, founded the
Non-Profit Organization “EZRA GLOBAL” dedicated to facilitating educational
pursuits and providing economic assistance to uplift individuals seeking
opportunities for self-improvement.


His spiritual journey is deeply rooted in his faith, being baptized in the name of
Jesus at an early age and groomed in the Apostolic Doctrine under the guidance
of his late father Diocesan Bishop Ellis J Farrington J.P.


Currently serving as The Diocesan Bishop of the Thirty-ninth (39 th ) Episcopal
District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Incorporated, The Bahamas
and Turks and Caicos Council, Bishop Dr. Farrington plays a pivotal role now
having assumed leadership following his father. Additionally, he contributes his
expertise as a member of the prestigious Budget and Finance Committee of the
Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Organization.


Diocesan Bishop Dr. Farrington has been instrumental in establishing ministries
throughout The Bahamas, The Caribbean, and The Americas alongside his sibling
Suffragan Bishop Dr. Sharon Rolle.


Renowned for his eloquence, Diocesan Bishop Dr. Farrington is a prolific teacher
and preacher, having ministered across The Bahamas, The Caribbean Islands,
The United States of America, Canada, and the United Kingdom.


In his personal life, Diocesan Bishop Dr. Farrington is happily married to First
Lady Her Excellency Ambassador Dr. Gezel Farrington, and they proudly parent
three boys: Anthony Jr., Mark Anthony, and Aaron Anthony.
